Apple is now on the 7th Generation of classic iPods. The newest Classic comes only as a 120GB model, which holds about 30,000 songs is available in 2 classic colors, black and silver. The 7th Gen, like the 5th and 6G has full Video support, as well as photo capabilities. Fourth and 5th Generation iPods had the rare U2 Edition iPod that occasionally shows up on eBay. The true iPod collector can find second generation iPods with Madonna's, Beck's or Tony Hawk's Signature or the band No Doubt's logo.
Supplies of refurbished iPod Classics on overstock have been limited, but, new and used iPod Classics of all generations, can usually be found on eBay, however, you will need to be quick, since the deals on eBay change by the minute!
List price is $249.
Overstock buyers pay about $217 for a refurbished iPod Classic.
eBay sells the 7G iPod Classic for about $223 new and $177 used.
