iPod Nano
| Apple is now on it's fourth generation of iPod Nano. Generation 3 and 4 will also play video. The latest, 4th Gen, that came out i the fall of 08, has some interesting new features, including voice recording, and an "accelerometer" that lets you shake the ipod into shuffling for a new song. Cool. Additionally, the 4th generation comes in 9 different "Nano-Chromatic" colors and is available in 16GB, or about 4,000 songs, while previous versions were only available in 1-8GB depending on generation. Avoid first gen of Nanos due to fire hazard. The Nano 4G is supposedly the most environmentally friendly Nano to date.A New fourth Generation Nano costs $149 or $199 for the 8 and 16 Gig versions. eBay sells 8GB Nanos for about $109 new. Used and older generation Nanos can be had for less, sometimes about fifty bucks. Overstock sells latest gen 8GB Refurbished for about $129.00. Both sites also carry the 16GB version.
